An Update on Field Service

Here at IRD, we are continuing to monitor and follow new regulations and recommendations closely as we work to ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers. We’ve already taken a number of steps to continue the support of our team and customers, with increased safety measures and operational changes. We'll continue to send out updates to help keep you informed as we navigate these uncertain times.

*As states and provinces in the US and Canada are updating restrictions due to COVID-19, IRD will now be offering field service to all of the US starting June 1st, 2021. Canada will also be fully open to travel. International customer locations will be evaluated based on local guidelines and regulations. Due to the restrictions on travel, many of our customers have found an easier route in requesting In-House Service. To learn more on this option, scroll down to "In-House Calibration" below.

We understand some customers require a machine checkout to be in compliance with certain certifications, and their machines cannot be easily transported. To best comply with local, state, and federal guidelines, IRD strongly suggests talking with your production or quality assurance leaders to see if you may be able to simply send in your instrument and sensors for an In-House Calibration this year. If you're concerned about being without an instrument while it's out for calibration, we also have several rental kits we can provide while you wait for its return. This might even be a great time to rent out our 295+ instrument to see if it might be the right fit for you.
