Meet IRD® LLC's dedicated and passionate sales staff who are here to answer any question you may have! Whether it be a question on one of IRD's products, shipping, or help with troubleshooting - we've got you covered.
David Jordan is the Application Engineer at IRD® LLC. David travels to our clients to calibrate, train, and troubleshoot on-site for our brands IRD® Balancing and Lexseco. He spends more time out of office than not to ensure our customers have the training and guidance they need to be successful. A mechanical engineering graduate from Purdue University, David enjoys the investigative process of troubleshooting to find and fix the underlying problem. When asked what values drive him, David said integrity and respect are most important to him. “Integrity is especially important when signing that our machines are safe to use for another year. Respect is essential because everyone knows more than you about something, and when I enter a building that operators and floor managers spend 5 days a week at or more, it’s important to value their advice, practices, and character.”
Malinda Whittaker is IRD® LLC’s Sales & Shipping Coordinator. Malinda has enjoyed working in customer service and sales for over ten years, starting out in New York, to now where she has found her home in Louisville, KY.She assists the IRDsales staff in quoting and selling IRD products and services, carefully handling shipping to IRD’s customers, and maintaining general office operations. Malinda most enjoys the family-friendly atmosphere of IRD and genuinely enjoys working with the IRD team on a daily basis. Malinda’s quote to live by is, “if you can fix the problem, try your best… but most of all, smile and laugh at the world. It may brighten someone’s day.”
Eduardo “Ed” Benitez is the new Product Specialist at IRD® LLC. Having grown up in San Juan, Puerto Rico with five predominantly English-speaking siblings, Ed is natively fluent in both English and Spanish. He studied mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico while working as a conversational language instructor and translator to fund his studies. His love of conversation combined with his love of engineering lead him to find a position as the Senior Inside Sales Representative for Johnson Controls in Louisville, KY. After 12 years at Johnson Controls, the company decided to move operations north to Wisconsin. With his roots now in Kentucky, Ed was excited to find the opportunity to start at IRD. Joining just last month, Ed is passionate to get started in helping IRD customers find the right core loss testers and balancing machines for their applications. Outside of work, he loves to spend time with his wife, Aida, and their daughter, Natalia, whom he loves playing with and affectionally calls “la luz de mis ojos,” the light of my eyes.
